Background:

The homeowner wanted to increase the opportunity to enjoy outside space, as they primarily worked from home in a home-studio. Our client’s daughter also required a larger bedroom than the one she had grown up in, meaning several aspects of the loft conversation needed to be considered to cater for the clients’ needs.

Result

A large new bedroom and en-suite was built to the rear of the property for the daughter to move into. We also cleverly crafted an additional, smaller room to be used as our client’s new home-studio that adjoined a new outside terrace and seating area.

The end result meant both home occupiers were given an excellent new space that appealed to both the large space requirement and bringing the outside, inside.
