Having purchased another property nearby, the homeowners wanted to refurbish and extend their original Victorian flat to let as a luxurious rental property.

Result

As well as renovating the existing layout, we carried out a Mansard loft conversion, transforming unused loft space into an entire new floor. This essentially doubled the square footage and number of rooms of the original flat.

The spacious new apartment now sits across two floors in the London period property. The first floor includes a light, airy open plan kitchen, diner and lounge, as well as a separate bedroom, and a bathroom with walk-in shower. The second floor, accessed by a full-size staircase, includes a large double bedroom and bathroom with bath, shower, vanity unit and toilet.

The entire flat underwent extensive refurbishment and decoration. The previous kitchen was replaced with a contemporary gloss kitchen with white metro tile splashback. Characterful hardwood parquet flooring was laid throughout the kitchen and lounge area, opening up and maximising the feeling of space.
