Health and Safety

Absolute Lofts are committed to ensuring the health, safety, and welfare to our employees, Contractors, client’s, and the public. We are fully aware of our legal duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

We have management systems in place that ensure the implementation of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) in the domestic construction sector. Ensuring each loft conversation project, the clients CDM duties are passed on to the contractor, or the principal contractor and where required the principal designer.

Quality Assurance

Absolute Lofts are committed to total customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory bodies at all times, at maximum effectiveness and minimal cost.

We operate a policy of zero defects internally and externally, by implementing high quality business process; correct vetting procedures for all personnel; continual monitoring of performance; and analysis of feedback received from our clients, customers, and colleagues.

Our design teams oversee the design, development, and delivery cycle to ensure industry best practice work methods, building regulations and statutory compliance is achieved across all our projects. We have robust systems in place to facilitate party wall surveys and agreements, planning permission, fire safety and insulation requirements for loft conversations.

Absolute Lofts work closely with the clients local authority to ensure compliance with building regulations, architectural and project design and building notice. This process is transparent and ensures that your loft conversion receives a completion certificate, a crucial piece of documentation for our clients seeking to safeguard or sell their property.

Environmental

Absolute Lofts are committed to the continual improvement of the management and operation of our activities that impact on the environment. Our management systems are structured to improve our environmental awareness and performance through appropriate initiatives, and controlled purchasing methods.

Absolute Lofts recognises the importance to both local and worldwide ecology of purchasing timber products that originate from the worlds well managed forests. We recognise that this is achieved by ensuring that timber products are procured from suppliers who are certified under a recognised chain of custody scheme: Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

Absolute Lofts are committed to our sustainable development approach to maximise our sustainable processes and minimise the environmental impact of our operations on society. This approach is rooted in the recognition that active engagement in social progress, environmental protection, and economic balance is necessary for long term development.

Across all out projects, our waste strategies are committed to the reuse and recycling of construction materials and packaging. Project wastes are disposed of in accordance with local authority requirements. 

Absolute Lofts recognises our Duty of Care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 (as amended), Hazardous Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2005 and other statutory provisions.
