Type of Property: Maisonette, two-bedroom and one bathroom
Our client on this particular project was a professional woman who lived in an upstairs maisonette but had dreamed of living in a more traditional home-styled property.
Due to her residence being a solely one-levelled property, we began working on plans to increase both the height and area of the property to give our client the much longed for experience of a multi-level home with her loft conversion.
We agreed with our client that in order to achieve the desired effect, we would require planning permission from Waltham Forest Council, which we applied for and received approval within eight weeks. This allowed us to pursue the rear dormer conversion, granting our client a lot more space and expanding the size of the property significantly.
Upon completion, the loft conversion was now a large master bedroom with en-suite, including bespoke custom fitted wardrobes that perfectly slotted into the groves of the conversion. The entire project took approximately 12 weeks and was extremely successful.
