Fortunately, our client on this project had their property on the corner of a residential road, meaning it afforded us lots of space down the side of the home and in the garden. Because the family loved the area and had no plans to move, they decided to completely renovate the downstairs area to significantly expand on the space they had, whilst also having a loft conversion built soon after.
After consulting with the family, we agreed a Wraparound Extension was the best foot forward. This meant we could utilise the space and access at the sides of the home and build a seamless, open-plan like area for the property downstairs. With added touches such as a bespoke log burner and polished concrete flooring, the extension was a huge (literally) success.
Just a few short months later, work began on the loft conversion to make sure it was completed for when the children returned from university and there was enough space for the entire family. Once the building work had finished, this property became a remarkable four-bedroom and two bathroom home.
