Romford Essex RM3
Dormer – 1 bed en-suite
8 weeks
Our client’s children were originally sharing a bedroom before the loft conversion. Now they were getting older, there was a real need to find extra space within the home.
As our clients did not want to take on the upheaval or expense of moving house, they were keen to explore loft conversion ideas to increase both the size of the home and its value.
"My son loves his new room; we hardly see him now! Seriously, Absolute Lofts were amazing, I’d really recommend them. They talked us through different loft design options and construction was really quick and smooth. The final room is amazing. The trouble is it’s the best spot in the house, we all want to move in!"

When designing a new loft space, we explore every way to optimise space. Bespoke built-in wardrobes under the eaves created ample storage space for clothes, games and books. While low-level cupboards are ideal for storing bulky items out of sight. In this case, the wall beneath the sloped roof also created the perfect spot for a TV and storage unit.
Of course, what teenage loft bedroom would be complete without their own private bathroom? The adjoining en suite is roomy enough to accommodate a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. Large format stone tiles on the floor and walls reflect light making the space feel even bigger. A stylish heated towel rail keeps the room at a lovely warm temperature, making mornings a little easier to manage too.
