Regulations

All work that occurs to your property must adhere to certain regulations and a set standard of quality, which is a requirement by law and building regulations. These mainly govern all interior work done to the property such as; insulation, airflow, party wallsstaircases and fire safety.

Absolute Lofts strives not only to meet, but exceed, the demands set by building regulations so that all of our customers are at their safest within our loft conversions

Our in-house control experts oversee all ongoing work to ensure the best workmanship, regulation compliance and quality is being applied to your loft conversion.

There are two main methods allowed by your local authority to ensure compliance with building regulations, full plans and building notice. Absolute Lofts would typically recommend the full plans method, as this ensures that your conversion receives a Completion Certificate; a crucial piece of documentation for those who are looking to sell their property.
