Result

Combining a large Hip to Gable and Dormer loft extension transformed the loft space in this end of terrace home. The newly configured layout includes a spacious, modern master bedroom – complete with integrated home cinema system – and en suite shower room. The perfect spot to kick back and unwind at the end of a long day!

Space and light abound in the new loft conversion. Triple Velux roof lights combined with sleek black aluminium bi-fold doors flood the space with natural light and offer impressive views.

Although the loft conversion took place in a period Victorian property, the new space is brimming with innovative features for smart living.

During the loft’s construction we wired-in a complete home cinema system. The concealed ceiling speakers and extra-large 2.5 metre screen enable our client to enjoy a truly immersive viewing experience, all from the comfort of their own bed.

At the flick of a switch, they can also take the room’s mood up or down with colour changing LED ceiling lights.

In terms of interior style, our client was keen to create a calm, minimalist retreat with stacks of storage to keep the space tidy and organised. As well as constructing low-level cupboards and shelving, we installed a bespoke full-length mirrored wardrobe. The mirror panels serve a dual purpose of reflecting light, making the room feel even bigger, and providing a convenient dressing room area.

All our loft conversions are decorated and finished according to our client’s wishes. In keeping with room’s modern, minimalist tone, we laid dark wood floor throughout. The rich tone of the timber highlights the dark bi-folds and doors, really drawing the final scheme together.
