Background:

The existing property was a small, two-bedroom flat occupied by a soon to be growing family. As such, our clients were keen to expand their home to cater for the much-needed space and additional bedrooms.

With the property being a flat, and little to no opportunity for natural light; one key consideration for the loft conversion and request from the homeowner was ensuring that there be as much natural light brought into the property as possible.

Result

The loft’s landing, and property in general, is now flooded with natural light through a grand, overhead skylight built directly above the staircase. This immediately made the property feel substantially larger, whilst making a statement as a contemporary and purposeful finish to the loft conversion.

The property upon completion went from a two-bedroom, one-bathroom to a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home. Meaning we had literally doubled the size of the clients’ home, allowing them plenty of room to grow as a family.
