Background:

Outgrowing the current property, our clients wanted to create a bigger, more open home to cater for the busy lifestyles of parenting, home-working and young-adult children.

The primary consideration was creating an extension to the home that felt modern and functional, but equally striking aesthetically. A small, first-floor room was also needed to be built and used as a home office for our client.

Result

Our main recommendation was building floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors to the rear of the property and extension.

This not only allowed natural light to fill the space tenfold, but gave the extension an impactful focal point that also made the area feel much more spacious. With the addition of a large kitchen diner, dining table, seating area and new purpose built home office; the end result was one of true contemporary design that fit the family’s lifestyle perfectly.
